Data Collection
We outsource the collection of investment manager data to a single provider: eVestment Alliance. The eVestment Alliance data is used internally within Hymans Robertson as useful background information for our desk based research and monitoring of investment managers.
We would strongly encourage you to fully complete your data entries to eVestment. If you are not already populating their database you can contact Dan Harrison [ 020 3402 5304 dharrison@evestment.com ] or visit their website www.evestment.com. There is no charge to managers for entering their data into the eVestment Alliance database.
For the avoidance of doubt, our quantitative screening process - Manager RADAR - will continue to use an Excel based questionnaire to collect data specifically for our screening process. These questionnaires are sent out as required for specific manager searches in the case of Local Authority clients and on a 6 monthly basis for our private sector clients.
